Jackie Vernon

My name is Jackie Vernon and I was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica.  At the tender age of 7, my mother, Aneita and my siblings, Juliet, Karen, Henry and Byron Vernon, moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. There, I completed Elementary, Middle and High school and continued on to college. I have obtained a degree in Commercial Arts and am pursuing a second degree in Business Communication. After completing my bachelors, I plan to attend Law School where I aspire to earn a Law Degree to practice Real Estate and Family Law.  I am also an established Licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Florida since 2000 and have been successful by the grace of God.

My daily goal is to be used by God in whatever way He sees fit.  One of my desires is to influence our young people in positive ways and encourage them to always strive for excellence in whatever they do.  I have been blessed to be a direct influence on lives of three very beautiful and dynamic girls.  I am the God-Mother of Chante Anderson, Ricquel Foster and Timya St. Fluer, of whom I am so proud of and love dearly.

I am also very active in my church, which is Mount Olivet Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There, I am the Communications Director and is very committed. I have held several positions in my church and while fulfilling my duties as a worker for God, I have drawn closer to God. I have been placed in positions where it is my responsibility to be an example and to express love, sometimes through a simple smile.  With that in mind, I take what I do for the Lord, very seriously.

I have faced many obstacles in my life, but I always look back and say to others and myself; I thank God for my mother, who has given me the best gift of all. She has given me the gift of knowing God. By knowing God and what He can do, I have and continue to overcome all obstacles. I love my mother with all my heart and I just want to say “thanks mama” for loving me enough to take time out to teach me about my creator, my savior, my deliverer, my best friend, my burden bearer, my strength, my shelter in the time of storm, my solid rock, my prince of peace, my way out of no way, and my God.

Thank you God for loving me in-spite of….

Cynthia Murray

My name is Cynthia Murray and I am excited to be a part of Pray 4 Me, Inc.

I was born on a cold, February, afternoon in 1974 in Denver, Colorado (USA). My parents are Jose and Carmen Lopez, hailing from the “Enchanted Island” of Puerto Rico. My father was in the Air Force so, during my childhood, I had the opportunity to live in many places, including Tokyo, Japan.

I attended high school in Puerto Rico at The Carvin School, graduating in the Class of 1992. In the fall of 1992 I enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico-Colegio Regional de Carolina for two years and later obtained my Associate of Science degree in Broadcasting from City College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Most recently I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

In 1999 I was married to my childhood sweetheart, Cedric Murray, of Ft. Lauderdale. We have been blessed with two, beautiful daughters- Jewel Talia, 3 years old, and Farrah Adys, 5 months old. Currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, my family and I attend the Mt. Olivet Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

I have also been called to minister in song and have been doing so since the age of 15. I started singing with my mother and cousin, in Puerto Rico, as “Las Hermanas Pizarro” and later sang and recorded a CD with Last Call. I have been a part of many Gospel, recording projects both in Puerto Rico and the US and have also sung jingles for various major companies. I currently minister in song with my husband and also as a soloist.

I believe the Lord has called me to be a part of this ministry and I am looking forward to a spirit-filled journey. I am looking forward to praying with you and for you. Remember where there’s more prayer, there’s more power. Maranatha, perhaps today!

Pray4MeInc.com was founded in February 2003. Jackie Vernon, Former Vice President Carmen Hope and Gena McIntosh were blessed enough to have the awesome opportunity to bring this idea to reality. Through the direction of God, the need of this service was realized and together along with assistance from several others, Pray4MeInc.com was made.

One year later, Carmen Hope, Former Vice President of Pray 4 Me, Inc. moved on to other ministries and the Lord sent Cynthia Murray who stepped in place with excitement, motivation, dedication and the vision, as Director of Pray 4 Me, Inc.

This ministry originated out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and plans on reaching people across the globe and helping them to enhance their prayer life and draw them
    closer to God.
